British grime artist Wiley posted a series of antisemitic tweet on July 24th. In his tweets, broadcasted to nearly half a million followers.

Our Belgium partner ENORB complained to La Dernière Heure about an article on Covid-19 which used an image of Muslim women:

Our Belgium partner ENORB contacted Le Vif to complain about an article which chose an image of women wearing veilS on an article about Covid-19, suggesting the two were linked.

Recently, Get The Trolls Out Greek partner organization Karpos found an article initially published on ethnos.gr that was reproduced on the website of defence-point.gr, with one slight catch. The reproduction of the article included a change of the original title from “Vitriol attacks: From the Greece of the deceived of the ‘30s to the harsh law of Pakistan” to “Attacks with vitriol: ‘weapon’ of sexual revenge, an instrument of Islam”.

GTTO partner Karpos submitted a complaint to the editor of the AthensVoice newspaper in relation to an article from a guest writer titled, “Women victims of rape and violence. What’s wrong?”.

Our partner ENORB have received two replies to complaints made to the Belgium public-service broadcasting organisation RTBF regarding recent Islamophobic content on their site. Here are the responses:

Our partner, EUJS, has written to Doorbraak.be about a recent anti-Islam article on their website as well as to highlight other incidents from the last few months:

Complaint letter to Metro.co.uk for an article whose headline suggests Ramadan celebrations would cause further Covid-19 transmissions, despite the article's body listing examples of communities adapting to social distancing.
